The ideal way to begin that adventure is with our Open Water Diver program. Under the guidance of our professional Instructors, you will develop the knowledge and skills necessary to enjoy a lifetime of underwater exploration. Our Training programs are designed with one goal in mind: for you to have serious fun when you dive! The only way to have a great time diving is to become truly comfortable with the skills and the equipment you will be using.

At Treasure Cove Divers, we don't want you to just learn to dive; we want you to love to dive. You'll love learning the art and science of SCUBA diving because we make every step of your SCUBA experience fun. Our professional instructional staff make learning come alive with personalized instruction that will put your new skills to use in reality-based training scenarios. Our unique approach to dive training is known as Comfort through Repetition. By practicing each skill you've learned throughout each level of training, you actions will become conditioned responses - second nature! Treasure Cove Training programs ensure that you retain what you've already learned, while continuing to learn more. As a result, diving becomes extremely fun and safe.

You're training will start from the comfort of your home. Your training materials are home-based study tools. The Open Water Manual is full color and easy to read and filled with colorful photos of the underwater world. The home-study experience is also enhanced with the Open Water Training DVD. Once you've begun the home-study exercises, you will meet with our Professional Instructional staff over a series of classroom and pool training sessions. This is where it gets really fun! You'll take what you've learned and apply it in reality-based instructional scenarios under supervision of our instructors. Our staff will fit you for your scuba equipment, so that you become comfortable in you "second skin".

Once you've completed all your pool and classroom training, you'll complete the open water dives necessary to receive your Open Water Diver Certification. With just a little more training, you can go even further...imagine diving in underwater shipwrecks, with sharks or becoming an underwater photographer! The underwater world is your oyster! You're going to love it!
